Label for Maly 8°

Maly 8°

3.1%
Pilsner - Czech / Bohemian
Imagine you’re wandering the narrow streets of Prague after work and amble into your neighborhood pub to have a beer or two? Maly 8° is a riff on this style of enjoyment. This Czech-style 8° pils features a rounded bitterness and complex malt character for full flavor, but checks in at only 3.1% abv. We used New Zealand Saaz hop varietals to produce a brighter and subtly fruitier hop note to add a progressive twist.
Label for Palmovka Speciální

Palmovka Speciální

5.5%
Pilsner - Czech / Bohemian
This limited edition variation on our original “Palmovka 12°” Pilsner pays tribute to the origins of the style and the rich tradition of Plzň by featuring two heirloom yeast strains, floor malted Czech Pilsner malt, and whole leaf Czech Saaz hops. Decocted, and boiled adhering to a Czech-style schedule and lagered extensively in one of our horizontal tanks. Notes of fresh baked bread and floral hops hold sway, and an expressive yeast character melds with light honey and hay on the palate. Palmovka Speciální has a soft mouthfeel with crisp carbonation that beckons for another sip. Na zdraví!
Label for Mersey

Mersey

3.7%
Mild - Dark
Crafted in collaboration with our friends at Creature Comforts (Athens, GA), Mersey is a classic English dark session ale with a rich, nuanced profile. Notes of toffee, caramel, roasted nuts, and baker’s chocolate come together in a medium-bodied beer with a smooth, clean finish.

Label for Clayton

Clayton

5.5%
Pilsner - New Zealand
Please welcome Clayton--our newest Pilsner! Featuring a distinctive New Zealand hop schedule, Clayton is full of Riwaka and Motueka hops from Clayton Hops (NZ). These provide striking notes of grapefruit, peach fuzz, lime, and kiwi. A fuller mouthfeel sets Clayton apart from many other dry hopped lagers, owing to the pilsner malt, pale 2-row, and malted wheat in its grist bill.

Store &
Tasting Room

Our Scandinavian farmhouse-inspired Store & Tasting Room was built in 2017-2018 to serve as our brewery’s flagship retail experience. This is where new beers are released, hard-to-find bottles and cans are available, and where brewery-only merchandise can be sourced. A limited number of draught pours are also available here. (Hint: the couch in front of the fireplace is magical in winter!)

Set only yards away from our 225 year-old pub, this modern building with soaring ceilings and ample glass was intentionally designed to reflect the tension between the classical beer styles and tasteful innovation that defines our brewery. Expansive decks with sweeping river views and a wood-burning fireplace provide an unparalleled sensory experience, bringing together our beer, the North Country’s rugged beauty, progressive design, and the warmth of friendship.
