Augustin 13°

Lager - Amber / Red
Translating to "half dark", this specialty lager is malt forward with notes of toffee & brittle, and subtle hints of fruit resulting from Czech lager yeast. Brewed with all Czech sourced ingredients, hopped with Saaz & Harmonie.

Bock - Single / Traditional
Burkhart is our interpretation of a strong German-style lager, a bockbier. This traditional style is characterized by a hearty and balanced malt profile and filled with notes of dark bread, toast and a kiss of toffee. Subtle hop bitterness balances the rich malts, and hints of roast and warmth are apparent. Lagered until beautifully round, this is a hearty beer for the late North Country fall.
Item label

IPA - American
Citrus, strawberry and spruce notes fill the palate, Galaxy hops dominate in this American IPA.
Item label

Belgian Tripel
A dry, spicy, and complex Belgian-style ale inspired by Trappists. Aroma and flavor marked by the marriage of peppery spice, citrus, and pear. Noble hops assertively utilized to create balance.

Foeder Lagered Karlův 13°

Lager - Dark
The first rendition of our Czech-style black lager - Karlův 13° - to emerge from our American Oak foeder. Rich black color capped with a tight umber foam. Cocoa powder and a bold espresso roast on the nose. In the taste - toasted rustic bread, light herbal and spice notes, toffee and baker's chocolate. Rounded and smooth mouthfeel.
Item label

Stout - Milk / Sweet
Very dark (33+ SRM) with a beige head, this milk stout is characterized by the flavors of chocolate, soft coffee roast and marshmallow - all derived from the grain bill, lactose and late addition of whole bean coffee.

Historical Beer - Kottbusser
Brewed with Halfway Crooks from Atlanta Georgia. Standing in contrast to the lagers brewed under the Bavarian Purity Law, the Kottbusser originated in Northern Germany in the 1700s. Our version features wheat, oats, molasses, and honey from White Mountain Apiary. Resiny-herbal hop character, orange blossom honey, green tea and a hint of licorice. A silky mouthfeel that fades to a lingering bitterness.

Old Mission

Pilsner - Other
Old Mission is a dry, crisp and delicate pilsner with the light floral, white wine and gooseberry notes that characterize Nelson Sauvin hops. Named after a peninsula that splits Grand Traverse Bay in Northern Michigan, where we grew up--a land of vineyards, orchards and brilliant blue water.

Tmavé 10°

Lager - Dark
Brewed with our good friends from Philadelphia, this chestnut brown Tmavé Pivo ("dark lager") lagered for 8 weeks. It's complex, sessionable and loaded with flavors of walnuts, baker's chocolate and subtle dark fruit notes. Na zdraví!

Store &
Tasting Room

Our Scandinavian farmhouse-inspired Store & Tasting Room was built in 2017-2018 to serve as our brewery’s flagship retail experience. This is where new beers are released, hard-to-find bottles and cans are available, and where brewery-only merchandise can be sourced. A limited number of draught pours are also available here. (Hint: the couch in front of the fireplace is magical in winter!)

Set only yards away from our 225 year-old pub, this modern building with soaring ceilings and ample glass was intentionally designed to reflect the tension between the classical beer styles and tasteful innovation that defines our brewery. Expansive decks with sweeping river views and a wood-burning fireplace provide an unparalleled sensory experience, bringing together our beer, the North Country’s rugged beauty, progressive design, and the warmth of friendship. Our food truck is often parked outside during the warmer months offering beer-friendly street food. Take away from our pub is also available for eating inside or on the deck.
