We’re pleased to release a special foeder-lagered riff on Feldberg, our Schwarzbier. Lagered for five weeks post-primary fermentation in our American oak foeder, followed by a period of stainless cold-conditioning, “Foeder Feldberg” pours a black body with ruby highlights and a off-white head. It exudes layered aromas of roasted almonds, baker’s chocolate and espresso beans. Flavors consist of fresh bread, hints of oak tannins and light vanilla, with gentle dark fruit notes and coconut sweetness. Light bodied with subtle oak apparent on the dry finish.
